SMS Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Express Corporate Housing, LLC (“ECH”) handles information collected through our SMS (text message) program. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.
Information we collect via SMS
When you opt in to receive SMS from ECH, we collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- The date, time, and content of messages exchanged
- Records of your opt-in (captured on your signed rental agreement) and any subsequent opt-out (STOP) request
- Carrier and delivery metadata returned by our messaging provider
How we use this information
We use this information only to operate the SMS program described in our SMS Terms & Conditions (https://expresscorporatehousing.com/sms-terms) — that is, to send you transactional and operational messages related to your stay, and to respond to your replies and HELP/STOP requests.
We do not use mobile information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or analytics outside the program.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on your reservation. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. ECH is not responsible for any carrier charges incurred as a result of receiving messages from this program.
No sharing with third parties for marketing
Mobile information collected through this SMS program, including phone numbers and opt-in records, is NOT shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for promotional, marketing, or advertising purposes.
We share mobile information only with our messaging service provider (Twilio Inc.) strictly to deliver, receive, and log messages on our behalf, and only as required by law.
Retention
We retain opt-in records and message logs for as long as your relationship with ECH is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required by law and for legitimate business purposes (typically up to 4 years from your last reservation). You may request earlier deletion of your mobile information at any time by contacting us, subject to any legal-retention obligations.
Your choices
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your mobile information by emailing privacy@expresscorporatehousing.com or by writing to the address below.
Children
Our SMS program is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect SMS opt-in or message content from anyone under 18.
